Do you know what a paddle mixer is?
Paddle mixer refers to mixing equipment that uses the rotating stirring effect of the paddle to perform mixing. In the mixing operation, due to the small squeezing and kneading force of the paddle on the mud, the air between the mud particles cannot be effectively discharged.

The mud is loose and the degree of tight integration is poor, but due to the simple structure of the equipment, low energy consumption, continuous operation, large production capacity, easy operation and maintenance, it is suitable for refractory with large production volume, stable process parameters, and low product density requirements. Production of products. In order to improve the uniformity of mud mixing, two or three units are usually connected in series to form a unit.

The paddle mixer is mainly composed of a tank, a horizontal screw shaft (discontinuous blades arranged in a spiral line are installed on the shaft) and a transmission device. Paddle mixers are divided into two types: single shaft type and double shaft type.

The single-shaft paddle mixer is composed of a horizontal shaft and a tank. The length is 3~5m. The blades are installed evenly on the horizontal shaft in an inclined shape. The distance between the tip of the blade and the tank wall is determined according to the critical particle size of the material. , Generally not less than 10mm. In order to make the material mixing evenly and appropriately extend the mixing time, the installation angle of the blades can be adjusted or part of the blades can be installed at the angle of the mud countercurrent.

The double-shaft paddle mixer is composed of two horizontal shafts and a tank, which are divided into two types: parallel flow and counter flow. When mixing in parallel, the rotation direction of the two shafts is opposite, and the direction of rotation of the blades is also opposite, and the mud is pushed in the same direction. When mixing in countercurrent, the rotation direction of the two shafts is opposite, and the direction of rotation of the blades is the same. Extend the mixing time of the material in the tank, which is conducive to uniform mixing. When dry mixing, the direction of the blade should be turned from the inside to the outer wall; when mixing, the blade should be turned from the outer wall to the inside to improve the squeezing effect on the mud.
